Using EFT for First Aid

One of my clients reported she'd been out with a friend who suffered a severe panic attack at a driving situation they'd been in. They arrived at the club and her friend was shaking so badly she couldn't even put a drink to her mouth. I asked my client if she'd tapped on her friend and to my total non-surprise she answered "no". Why wasn't I surprised? Because so often people who are EFT enthusiasts just plain forget to use it. Yes, yes, that includes me as well!

However I have been using it quite a bit for first aid. I had a couple of sun spots burnt off my face and they really hurt on the way home so I tapped away, grateful that I had something to help. I seldom get headaches but out of the blue one came on while I was out - oh, those fingertips are so handy - I was able to offload it in a few minutes. And I ALWAYS use it at the dentist, especially when I've opted to not have an injection!

So remember, when you are out and about, you might have nothing else on hand but your hands - so use them to tap your way out of pain, shock, anxiety or whatever else comes up. Even if you are not involved in what is happening - say you are a witness to a car crash, -you can use tapping to keep yourself balanced and steady. In any situation where shock may be involved it's important to tap as soon as possible - EFT is a great remedy for shock and it may be possible to actually prevent shock from coming on.
